Ugandan ministry of health has reported that results of 1,670 tests done on 12 March, 2021 confirmed 24 new cases. Giving a breakdown of the cases, it disclosed that Kampala (20), Ibanda (1) and Amuru (3). The ministry stated that the total number of confirmed cases are 40,568, and total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 is 1,015.
