Following the recent developments in Europe, the European Union (EU) medical regulator, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has announced that the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe and effective, and encourages all European countries to administer the vaccine.
CEO, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib said that it is important that the Nigerian masses focus on the science which informed the EMA's conclusion that the vaccine is safe.
He stated that their priority is the health and safety of Nigerians. Vaccines save lives!
