The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has dismissed as false rumours of February monthly stipend to be paid at the end of March 2021 due to the fund being expended on settlement of bandits.
It stated that the public, especially Corps members to disregard in its entirety the story which is the handiwork of mischief makers.
While warning originators of this falsehood to refrain from such criminal action, it advised Corps members to rely only on information on the NYSC platforms.
Furthermore, it stated that the welfare of Corps members shall continue to be accorded top priority by the scheme, while urging the public to stay safe and adhere strictly to COVID -19 protocols.
