Lagos police operatives has arrested a man, Peter Arinola at Empire area, Surulere with an English pistol while he was negotiating and harassing a lady for sex.
According to report, the suspect was using he pistol to intimidate the lady to agree to his terms and amount he wanted to pay, but the lady insisted on certain amount of money. So Peter brought out the pistol and wanted to force the lady to sex, which made the lady raise alarm, that resulted into him being overpowered and arrested by the people around the brothel.
During police investigation, it was revealed that Arinola used to assist an armed robber to keep the pistol for operations and around 5 rounds of ammunition have been recovered.
Commissioner of police, CP Hakeem Odumosu has ordered that the owner of the pistol and suspected armed robber, who is at large, be apprehended and brought to book.
