Lagos state government has compensated Mr. Adebayo Aboyomi whose mother was killed by policemen, the sum of N10 million.
The money was presented by Chairman, Lagos Judicial panel, retired Justice Doris Okuwobi on behalf of the Lagos state government.
It can be recalled that Adebayo Abayomi mother was killed by SARS officers during one of their operation against yahoo boys.
He accused the police of abandoning his mother's corpse on the floor of a mortuary, after the then divisional police officer (DPO) of Olosan police station, informed him that his mother would be embalmed and that officers found culpable would be made to face justice.
