Aviation minister, Hadi Sirika has disclosed that a military aircraft has crashed short of Abuja runway due to engine failure.
He said,
A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna.
Sirika states that the crash appears to be fatal and is unable to say if any soul was lost, urging calmness for the outcome of investigatio. by the military.
According to him,
It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm and wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.
