Have you ever wondered why people who works as employees do the business as though it is their, you might have the following thoughts - because they don't want to lose their jobs, because they have families to feed, because of their responsibilities, because of their passion for the job, because it is there sole source of the income, because they are treated right; these reasons are true but not to the point of employees doing the job like they own it.
The atmosphere which makes employees carry out the job like their own from start to finish is when they are given good pay. A pay that merits the kind of the job that they do, a pay that enhances their productivity, a pay that makes them look their best, be their best, and perform the best.
According to Robert Bosch, "I don't pay good wages because I have lot of money; I have lot of money because I pay good wages". This implies that not because he has money that results in him paying good wages but because he pays good wages that makes him have lot of money - good pay enhances the productivity of employees.
In other for you to get the best out of your employees, you have to treat them right and pay them well. Your approach to your employees, is their approach to your customers - you have to treat your employees the way you want them to treat your best employees; the productivity of your workers lies in the amount that you pay.
You have to keep them happy, just the same way you would keep the customers happy; they are just as important as the customers - because you would want to keep them, just the same way you will want to your customers.
