Patience is an important virtue in a human character and attitude, it is everybody desires to have but only few can truly practice what patience really is. According to Longman English dictionary, Patience is the ability to continue waiting or doing something for a long time without becoming angry or anxious; from another angle, it is the ability to accept trouble and other people’s annoying behaviour without complaining or becoming angry.

Not everybody can be patient but everybody can crave to be patient; and in other to achieve this you need to have to things - acceptance and faith, these are the key criteria to patience. Acceptance and faith are what helps develop quality of patience in a person.

There are things beyond our control and things that cannot be changed; we need patience to deal with this situation and by so doing, we have to accept things as they are. Accepting things as they are enables us to be patient because we are able to see realistically at the way the world is, there are no visual or mental imagination of trying to believe what is not there.

In the aforementioned definition, it was stated that patience is the ability to not be angry, not complain, not anxious about things that the world brings; this can be achieved if you accept it as they are. Acceptance is a key to patience; if you intend to be patient, you have to be willing to accept things as they are.

Another key factor to patience is Faith; it is the belief that comes without doubt, even when you haven't seen. When you have faith, it gives you the patience that things will come out as you have planned even when it might seem far from reach. Faith enhances patience, it makes us believe that what we are waiting for will come to us or what we set out to do will be achieved in the long run. Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen, and you will conquer it all.

If you accept the world as it is and have faith in what you are doing, you will triumph over many obstacles and challenges.
