Errors as a source of knowledge

When it comes to knowledge acquisition, the truth is viewed as the only source that provides this. Anything that is aside the truth is nothing but false, and should not be seen as a source to gain knowledge.

Truth in this context, is everything that is based on facts and can be proven, rather than what is untrue, imagined, or guessed; anything based falsehood is believed to not be a source of knowledge, which is true because it only gives wrong information or knowledge about the subject matter and can get you misled.

It is true that truth is a source of knowledge, but it is false to say that it is the only source of knowledge for any human being. Another source of knowledge is errors - error in decision, error in activity, error from experience, error in judgement, amongst others; any form of error is a source of knowledge.

Errors are mistake which are made in the cause of action; as humans mistake is a common thing that is part of our nature because nobody was born perfect so we are bound to make mistakes. Errors are great learning tool, and can be referred as the best source of knowledge, because you get to experience it yourself and see for yourself where you have made a wrong.

According to Carl Jung,

Knowledge rests not upon truth alone, but upon error also.

Don't be afraid to take a step, if you make a mistake it's completely natural; make that mistake, learn from it, take correction, and re-take that step in guidance with what you have learnt.
