Truth is the real nature of something, it is not based on imagination, myth or guessing. It is a fact, an originality of the nature of something which is not based on falsehood and any form of contradiction. It is a quality which is not born within, it is something that must be learnt and practiced.
For truth to become part of a person's nature; it must be practiced, developed and made a habit. In other to achieve this, you have to resist any form of lying and tell the truth at every instances. This kind of habit is not so accepted in the society but it shouldn't prevent you from being a truthful person.
The value of truthfulness cannot be listed because it is enormous, but we will state some of the key values of it. A key value of truth is that it sets you free; liars are weight which troubles the human mind and conscious unless it is relieved by telling the truth
The truth makes us to be content in our everyday life; when you are truthful you only do what will make you uphold that faith. This prevents you from lying because you only have to do, take and say what is needed. You become contented with yourself, and not look for what doesn't belong to you.
Truth gives happiness; it gives you the happiness of being a trustworthy person because people know you as an upholder of the truth and justice. It also offers us the happiness that we are free from self torture and torment, and love that we get from telling the truth.
