True forgiveness

The power of forgiveness lies in every individual capability, it's only difficulty lies in the situations that requires the individuals to forgive or be forgiven. Forgiveness means to remove all form of anger, blame, curse from your mind and heart towards someone, although they have done something wrong. It requires total absolution of the offender, and put all offenses behind.

For most people forgiveness is all about - being able to forgive but unwilling to forget; they take pride in stating to their offenders this, and stick to it. This ideology is wrong because it totally write off what forgiveness is all about. For someone to say that he forgive but won't forget means that he still harbors hatred in his heart, and would most likely get back at the offender if given a chance.

Being able to forgive and not forget, is another way of saying, I will not forgive.

Forgiveness is meant to be like a torn and burnt piece of paper that never shows up again, it disappears like snow melting under the sun. In other for you to truly forgive, you have to forget as well.Forget about the pain your offender has caused you, forget about the situation, forget about the actions of your offender, and look towards reconciliation.

Reconcile your differences with the other party and work on better ways to build your relationship.
