Suffer it to be so for now; we may be drowning but we will shine the light

BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

"But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him."- Matthew 3:15

"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."- 1 Peter 5:10.

There are situations we find ourselves that we didn't bargain for neither can we wish them away. There is an assurance that we have, they are only for a "while". It will definitely pass away. These circumstances are only guests that checked into our space and consecration to try our faith, to make us perfect, to establish us and strengthen us.

I tell you, suffer it to be so for now when it occurs to you that you don't have the resources to start that project or business. Suffer it to be so for now when you aren't seeing green light on that action you took as you anticipate the next level. Suffer it to be so for now after you have been having series of retreats but yet to really see the traces of the supernatural that you desire.

The cycle is about to be complete, you are indeed metamorphosizing and the new dawn is closer than you can imagine. Hold on, hold forth and hold strong.

If you think you can't continue like this, also know that the situation can't continue "like that". There is a definite turnaround on the way. No matter the intensity of weeping at night, there is a definite assurance of joy in the morning.

Even when it appears as though the circumstances around us are drowning us, we would stay put to shine the light so that those behind us could get clarity. We would ensure that the people behind us would avoid the mistakes we made and the paths we trended that made us drown.

Our heads may be down but we would raise our hands to show that giving up is not an option and we would rise again soon.

Our heads may be buried in the ocean of our situations but our eyes are opened to find the missing links and where we might have gotten it wrong.

We are opened to personal evaluations of our progress and stagnation. We are ready to re-strategize, take cautions, seek counsels, pray through, keep the faith alive and stay positive on issues that appears as getting out of control.

Happy new year 🤗
