New dimension of education

Education has been described as many things by different people based on how it appeals to them; for example it has been described as everything, the way forward for people, the most powerful weapon of which can be used to change the world, the key to the freedom from ignorance, amongst others. These description of education is not false but all has a shallow meaning.

For you to be considered educated; you have to go to school. With the advancement of the world, those who went to school are considered not being the only educated people in the world. Education has grown to a new dimension where those that went to school are not considered as the only educated; people who are learned are also referred to as educated.

Learned people get their education through years of training and mastery of the work. It is here that the true concept of what education is comes out.

Education has changed from the phase of teaching and learning in schools, college and university; it is now being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don't. For educational institution like colleges and universities, it depends on how much you are able to commit to memory so that you can be able to pass out of the school. The new phase of education is all about knowing you know and knowing what you don't know so that you will learn.

The former system of education barely allows this method because it strictly follows a system and abide by it; and because of this, it believes that it can teach individuals all that they need to. The present phase of education disapproves this method, it has allowed a more flexible method of learning by allowing the individual to learn anything based on how it comes, it also allows individuals to get experience in what they learn, and a whole lot more.

This phase has given individuals more than just education, it has broaden the scope of learning by giving it a new dimension to allow individuals learn more as they grow older, and preparing them for the future ahead.
