Feedback in business is very important, especially for products that are consumer facing. They need feedback in other to tell how well they are doing in the market. The purpose of feedback is versatile as well as it uses. Generally, feedback aids an organization in letting them know what their customers think of their product, and look for possible ways of improving it. 

Most difficulties organizations have in generating feedback is on how to get it. There are different methods to which an organization can generate feedback, especially with the help of digitalization. It should be noted that the way an individual entrepreneur carry out feedback generation is different from that of an organization who has a wider reach; though there are common way to which both party can carry out feedback generation. 

The commonest way to generate feedback from people is through going out and talking to the them and hearing what they have to say. There is only difference in the way an individual entrepreneur and organization does it; an individual entrepreneur will carry out this approach by conversing one on one with it's customers, without having to send anyone to do it. On the other hand, since the business owner(s) have employers, they send them to carry out feedback generation. 

Another common method is by conducting internet survey or poll; the advantage of digitalization is that it has brought people much closer together by making the world a global village. Business owners as well as entrepreneurs can carry out their survey through the use of the internet.

Other methods to which feedback can be generated includes; 

  • Mails/E-mails: People can send their opinions or suggestions through mail box or electronic mail, as far as they have the address.
  • Telephones: Organisations or Entrepreneurs can be reached out through their phone lines. The thing about using phone lines is that it must be active and always available, and the public must have the right number. 
  • Social media platforms: With the advancement of the world, the social media has become means of communication, where people from far and near can come together and express thoughts. Business owners need to take this approach to their advantage by creating social accounts where people from far and wide can reach out to them. Examples of social media platforms includes: facebook, twitter, instagram etc. 

The values of feedback are enormous and cannot be explained, it is very important for the survival of a business and needs to be taken seriously.
