Don't limit your child to your own learning

Children are said to be the future of tomorrow, what they learn at this stage of their life shapes how their reasoning, growth, and how they perceive world. At this stage, they are easily influenced by two things -  what they are taught and what they come across; out of which one has a more stronger influence on them than the other.

As an adult, you have the responsibility of teaching your child(ren) at their early stage of life, whether you are a parent or guardian, your teachings shape their life either positively or negatively depending on how they are taught. For most parents or guardian the idea of teaching is based on morals, principals, respect, discipline, what do and what not to do.

These methods in teaching are good and effective but needs to tally with the present of which the child is born. Time in this content refers to era,  as the world exist there is constant change in everything like the way of life, the way we think, and the way we do things. As the world keeps on advancing so should you methods of doing things in other to survive, for instance - because you are born in an era where there are no car doesn't mean you should own and drive one when there is one.

You need to adapt to the ever changing world, so does your method of teaching or training a child. It is efficient that you teach a child based on his era because it is best that your child learns from you than to learn it from someone or somewhere else. Because children are most likely to get influenced by anything, it is best they learn the ropes from you because you know best the level of exposure to give your child.

Your child(ren) shouldn't be limited to your own learning, they should be allowed freedom to learn from their surroundings with your own watchful eyes, and the kind of exposure you think they need. Don't try to hide things from your child, most especially when they tell you things affecting them or when they ask you questions; answer by explaining things to them in their own knowledge.

Explain to them as matured as you think they really.
