Don't let the competition get into your heart

Life is a competition, everything that we engage in we do it to be the better man than the other party, and in the competition rivals are built, alliance are formed, friendship and unfriendship are made, decisions are made, actions are taken, lessons are learnt, and experience are gotten; it all plays out one after the other and could either make a person a better individual or make the individual grow worst.

At every stage of our life, we are competing for something - like at the early stage: competition could be in having the best bag, pencil, book etc, or the number of things you have, this stage can also be referred to as the child stage. The next stage is the adolescent stage - here competition could be in phones, cloths, accessories, books, schools etc. The last stage is the adult stage - here competition becomes more serious and intense because of responsibilities, competition could be in sales, marketing, being on the spot light, position, promotion etc. All stages has a common ground, which is to be better than other people.

Being in competition is good but it shouldn't take away your heart from the people that cherishes and love you, you shouldn't let yourself get intoxicated by the competition because putting your heart to it only drown your relationship with other people, and makes you focus on being the best at what you want. Putting your heart to the competition makes you see other relevant things as irrelevant and a distraction to your goal. The only thing that becomes relevant is you and your goal, so it is better you be in the competition than letting the competition get into your heart.

Merry Christmas 🎄
