Success has been defined as when someone achieve what they want. It is a positive result on investment which was carried out step by step in other to get to that point. Success is defined by the amount of hardwork, dedication, commitment, optimism and experience put in to get the desired result.
Without doubt these characters to the success of a person are important but it doesn't fully make an individual successful. Some people might say that the difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person is that the former has the resources, connection, determination and burning desire while the latter lacks these qualities.
This is actually false because these qualities although important doesn't define who an unsuccessful person is. For instance, there are stories that have been told of how people who lacks the resources and connections to succeed still end up getting successful. This is because rather than see their limitations as an excuse, they see it as an obstacle.
So, the difference between a successful and unsuccessful person is that rather than view their limitations as an excuse they consider it an obstacle which they have to overcome. Even though both the successful and unsuccessful person starts at the same point while lacking the resources, the reason they both end up in different points in life comes down to overcoming obstacles.
Resources and connections doesn't make an individual successful, though it's importance is without doubt. The success of an individual is narrowed down to how resourceful the individual is.
Being resourceful means the individual is able to find a way to deal with practical problems, no matter what is thrown at them, they still do well to try to put such problem under their control and sort ways to overcome it.
It comes down to this, rather than let your resources and connections be your limitations and excuse, make it an obstacle that you have to conquer. BE RESOURCEFUL
