Research has shown that most business owners who ventures into a new business get themselves worked up about how big their business should be, they get carried away with the idea of being the biggest brand, investing lot of capital while knowing that they have the possibility of success and failure.
The thought of being the biggest brand in the competing business world drives business owner to make rational decisions and actions, which often prove destructive to the business.
They invest lot of time, money and hardwork for the success of the business but still end up unsuccessful to the accomplishment of their objective.
The cause of the unsuccess in the business is not as a result of the investment made but with other factors like meeting up with competition as well as competitor, the market, and getting customers.
The market could serve as a problem for new businesses because most market would like to purchase from existing brand rather than new ones; the business owner would have to convince the market of the new product, assuring them of what it offers.
This could also be the same case when it comes to customers, since they are the end-user of the product convincing them to switch to a new brand would be tough but profitable.
Meeting up with competition on the other hand would also be a difficult task due to the level of experience and years they (competitors) already have in the market.
The customers already have assurance on the brand they purchase, so what the existing brand has to do is just stay in the market and keep on satisfying the customers but the new business brand have to work it way to the heart of the customers.
In other to avoid this stress, the simple solution is to start small and keep on growing. In this method of business, the business owner don't have to worry about lot of things, he focuses on the business present, setting aside what would negative idea to the success of the business.
Focusing on the present situation of the business gives the owner the chance to start it from scratch and grow it to full maturity. The business owner only needs to start by working on what needs to be done at the present moment and then what needs to be done tomorrow.
Following this method allows the business owner to properly manage the business as well as accomplish it's objective.
