For me, I have been spending quality time daily for academic researches and we have been keeping at it. One of the mountains God would have believers to effectively explore in this season is that of “Academics (Education)” as some folks have ignorantly avoided it because they feel being called to ministry starts by neglecting academic progress.
Men are rising from this mountain, new research ideas and inventories are going to be championed by spirit filled believers and I won’t be left out.
Don’t be surprised neither should you say a young minister has missed it, when you see him active in class rooms and later on the pulpit or when you see an anointed of the Lord on the mission field and later you find him in the laboratory.
Destiny beckons at us, purpose is calling our names.
It is possible for a man to be overwhelmed with passion for ministry as he forgets and neglects his purpose for living. Young man, you need to be wise and discerning.
Follow your scroll and the paths God has prepared for you, God won’t reward you for doing another man’s assignment if you neglect yours.
No wonder Solomon protested;
”……THEY MADE ME THE KEEPER OF THE VINEYARDS; BUT MINE OWN VINEYARD HAVE I NOT KEPT” – Song of Solomon 1:6
History had it that Martin Luther King (Jnr.) almost recruited Billy Graham to join the freedom movement but Billy Graham was so convinced about his purpose and he kept at it.
May be Billy Graham would have been known also as a renowned activist but what would have happened to the souls?
Hope you know Michael Faraday was a believer and a worker in church?
If Michael Faraday felt he could have also been a preacher on the pulpit because he wants to proof that he is also spiritual, what would have happened to Electricity, theories of electrochemistry and electromagnetic phenomena?
Hope you know John Rockefeller (the man considered as the wealthier American of all time), was an usher in church and he was still the one who kept church keys even as the then richest man?
If John Rockefeller was lobying for a ministerial position in church at the expense of being a business tycoon as ordained by God, what would have happened to his wealth? May be he would have been pleading with the congregation to sow compulsorily into his life to make ends meet.
Faithfulness is not judged by volumes of activities but in doing to pattern what you are instructed to do in His will.
Someone reading this article, I'm instructed to tell you this; "the reason you are yet to get a job is because you are yet to find your purpose. The reason why that anointing you desire is yet to come upon you is because you are going to use it for the wrong purpose".
It doesn't matter if you aren't popular as you desire for doing what you are called to do but eternity will bow for you and the sovereign one will reckon with your deeds. One of the greatest havocs God can permit isn't the untimely death of saints but for a believer to be alive and prospering out of His will.
