4 ways to grow and maintain customers


The game of every profiting business that deals with customers is to have them, keep them and grow them; the idea to keep this functional is to make the customers happy and satisfied in the product or services they received. This requires vast amount of hardwork from the organization or business owner to bring it to light.

An organization or business owner that seeks to keep and grow it's customers must first have knowledge of those customers, their complains (both generally and individually), what keeps them still coming back for the product, what the customers require to be improved in the product or service. Establishing this criteria, the business owner or organization can then work ways to grow their customer base without losing their present customers.

Some of the ways of which an organization or business owner can keep their customers as well as grow their customers are;

  1. Appreciation: This process allows the organization tell the customers how grateful they are for their patronage. It shows the level of gratitude the organization have to the customers. Appreciating the customers generates good mindset towards the organization as well as the product or service; This way the customers, who are the public, talks about the product or service in a good way, which helps portray good image on the organization as well as product and service that they render. 
  2. Promo: No doubt the effect of this method is highly recognized. Through promos, the organization can grow the strength of their customers base as the general public would want to purchase or use the product or service because of the promo. When using the product or service because of the promo, the public can see the relevance of the product or service to their basic needs, which leads to growth of the organization's customer base. The promo could be in form of cash prizes or gift items.
  3. Improvement: This is in product or service or both based on customers needs and how the organization see it. THERE IS NOTHING THAT CANNOT BE IMPROVED UPON. An organization or business owner that have this in mind looks for innovative and creative way of making their product or service stand out from others. They do this having the end-users (customers) in mind. Improvement can be in the product or service quality, quantity and packaging. 
  4. Discounts: This is another way of keeping and growing an organization's customer base. Placing discount on the prizes of product/service would no doubt lead to grow as customers from other organizations with similar product/service would rather go for the cheaper product than the expensive ones. 

An organization that seeks to achieve grow in customers can do so by following this any or all of this approach. In doing this, they must also put into consideration the effects it will have on them.

These effects could be in workforce, finance and strength of the organization or business owner. An organization that best seeks to grow their customer needs to look at long lasting approach so as not lose them immediately.
