Beware of hypocrisy; many Christians have ignorantly become accusers of the brethren (BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE)

If you examine how some Christians have become judgmental about the Christian lifestyle, you will think God has handed over the book of life to them as they claim they can discern one’s lifestyle to know if they are truly saved.

You said no matter how Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is anointed, you can’t listen to him because he has “jerry curls” as you feel an anointed of the Lord shouldn’t “perm” his hair. Lol, you that you know how to do your hair “well”, why is your head lacking anointing?

You may need to ask God why He would leave your own head that doesn’t have curls to anoint a man you said has presented his hair carnally?

You said Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is a disappointment to Christian faith because of the way he wears “casual outfits” to preach on the altar but you that is dressing like a “Pastor” with parachute suit and “Aluta shoes” why is your life an opposite of excellence.

Please, ask God why He chose a man you claimed dresses like a “worldly figure” and anointed him with the spirit of excellence, or why He by-passed you who claimed to know how spiritual leaders should dress?

You listen to Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo's messages on relationship, you desire Apostle Suleiman Lawal pray for one of your relatives who needs divine healing and you love the songs of Prosper Ochimana not minding their beard; but when you see a youth in church wearing beards, you start to doubt his salvation and feel he is a worldly person.

You claimed T.L Osborn is God’s general who God used for notable miracles, signs and wonders. You can’t forget your encounter with his book, “THE PURPOSE OF PENTECOST” but you are quick to forget he wears beards as a minister. How disappointing to know that same you is telling other young preachers that ministers of the gospel aren’t supposed to wear beards.

Remember, the anointing ran from the head of Aaron to his beards (Psalms 133:2). If God had told some ministers to anoint Aaron back then, they would have rejected Aaron because of his beards and told God he is not qualified to be a minister.

You said it is Muslims that wear beards, the bible called people like Aaron who had beards “Alfa Aaron” right? Please, help me to believe that T.L Osborne, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, Prosper Ochimana and co are all Muslims because of their beards.

You said Mama Oyedepo and Mama Funke Adejumo are models to many Christian women nationwide without considering they wear makeups and often don’t cover their hairs in service.

You as a self-acclaimed vibrant usher, when you see a first timer wearing makeup and not covering her hair during service in your church, you are quick to tell her never to come to church on makeup and should always cover her hair. You who have been tying scarfs for years, why is the anointing yet to penetrate to your head?

As a choir leader, you love Victoria Orenze as you wish your Church invites her as a guest minister. Anytime they ask you to lead worship, you sing her songs “We have come to draw” and in your closet, you sing; “Oh Lord, set my heart on fire for you”.

You didn’t mind that Victoria Orenze wears weavons, trousers and often doesn’t cover her hair but when you get to see any of the choir members do same, you start judging them that they have backslid.

You didn’t mind the fact that Reverend Todd White and Prophet Manasseh Jordan are on dreadlocks while Travis Greene blonde his hair and you said the hairstyle Eben wears is a good haircut. Yet, if you see any believer do anything similar to these personalities, you condemn them.

It is the spirit that bears witness with our own spirit that we are children of God not someone else's observations, lifestyle or doctrine. Remember; “remove the plank from your own eyes first before considering the speck in another man’s eyes” (Matthew 7:3-5)._

Like Peter, God is telling some folks; “who are you to call something or someone unholy when God has sanctified them?”  (Acts 10:11-16).

Don’t make your lifestyle, the personality of your pastor and your church doctrines the standard of how Christians should live their lives._

To be continued.
