6 steps to solving a business problem


Responsibilities comes with great cost and in such cost comes problems which are unforeseeable. As business owners problems are sure to occur, how these problems are handle shows the level of growth and experience an individual has developed over the years.

For a business owner to solve problems that arrives in the cause of his business, certain criteria needs to be met, in other to solve the problem:

1) State the problem: Before a business owner can solve a problem, he must first state the problem that needs solution before going into action. In stating the problem, the business owner is aware of the position of the business and knows the steps towards the solution in other for the business to grow.

2) Think: This process allows the business owner to sit back and try to look for possible ways to which the problem can be solved. It allows the business owner develop various/several ideas based on his experience towards resolving the problem.

3) Focus and Interest on the problem: In other for a business owner to fully devote his mind towards solving the problem, he should switch off external/outside distraction. This would allow total concentration of the problem. The business owner should have total interest on the solving the problem but if otherwise, it is advisable to give someone else to handle the problem.

4) Relate problem to past experience: Past ways or methods of solving problem could be helpful towards solving current problem. No knowledge or experience is a waste when dealing with matters affecting us.

5) Take each problem as a challenge: The word 'problem' brings negativity to the human mind. Every problem should be viewed/seen as a challenge which can be overcomed. This would put a more positive notion in the mind of the business owner.

6) Let your subconscious work: Subconscious are hidden in your mind but most at times an individual is not aware of them. The subconscious would aid the business owner into having a more deeper thought about solutions to the problems.
