12 lessons about being a social media influencer (BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE)
_1. If it is possible for you to prostrate beside the title of your write-ups that contain your thoughts on different subjects on social media and start every sentence with “please”, those that would criticize your opinions will still do as they may even start by addressing them by your “please” and “prostration”.
2. Some folks are not actually reacting against your write-ups but they are using your write-up to attack your personality that they don’t want to accept for reasons best known to them..
3. Some things you share that people despise and criticized, if it was someone else other than you that posted them, they would have applauded and celebrated them.
4. Some things people are against in your posts are not what you actually wrote but what they desired, imagined or felt you wrote that they are not satisfied with.
5. Some people have made up their minds not to comment on the good you wrote or will write, they are earnestly waiting to respond against your thoughts when it contradicts their mindsets as they don’t mind waiting till you have a write-up that services this.
6. Don’t be caught up with arguing with your critics, it is not all feedbacks on your posts that deserve your response.
7. Learn the act of “silence” by avoiding unnecessary arguments with your critics because some of them have built empires with their ignorance as no matter what you say to prove your points, it won’t change their stand on the subject, and they would never agree to see the subject from your perception.
8. Don’t try, and convince folks that are already confused by their ignorance, even when you present a fact from bible, encyclopedia and other materials with proven evidences, it won’t change their biases.
9. Leave a space in your heart to receive constructive criticisms as you can also learn from another perception of your critics.
10. Not all critics are attacking you if you can give it another thought, some of them are inadvertently announcing your impacts and publicizing their ignorance.
11. Don’t reply everyone in the comment section, some folks are better discussed with via direct messages and phone calls to share productive thoughts on the subject.
12. Be open to unlearn, learn and relearn no matter how much you know even if it would cost you to disagree with what you once agreed with.
